Rina said to Sima, "Why don't you get up early from sleep?" Sima said, "It is tough for me to leave bed early." "Alas! It is a bad habit," said Rina, "If you leave bed early, you can enjoy sound health. Follow my advice." Rina asked Sima why she did not get up early from sleep. Sima replied that it was tough for her to leave bed early. Rina exclaimed with sorrow that it was a bad habit. 2. "Where do you like to go?" said the ticket officer. "To Rajshahi," said the lady. "How many tickets do you need to buy and of which class?" "Three first class tickets." The ticket officer asked the lady where she liked to go. The lady replied that she liked to go to Rajshahi. The ticket officer again asked how many tickets she (L) needed to buy and of which class. She (L) replied that she needed three first class tickets. At last the ticket officer said that the tickets were there and added that they would cost her three thousand taka. (টিকেট কর্মকর্তা ভদ্রমহিলাকে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন তিনি কোথায় যেতে চান। ভদ্রমহিলাটি উত্তর দিলেন যে তিনি রাজশাহী যেতে চান। টিকেট কর্মকর্তা আবার জিজ্ঞেস করলেন তার (ভদ্রমহিলা) কতগুলো টিকেট কেনার প্রয়োজন এবং কোন শ্রেণির। তিনি (ভদ্রমহিলা) উত্তর দিলেন যে তার তিনটি প্রথম শ্রেণির টিকেটের প্রয়োজন। অবশেষে টিকেট কর্মকর্তা বললেন যে এই নিন টিকেট এবং আরো বললেন যে সেগুলোর মূল্য তিন হাজার টাকা লাগবে।) ।
3. The new teacher entered the classroom and said, "Can you tell me what I should do now?" "No, sir," one of the students said. The teacher smiled and said, "Try to guess." (আবরার ফারজানাকে সুপ্রভাত জানালো এবং তাকে জিজ্ঞেস করলো সেই পরীক্ষার জন্য সে কেমন প্রস্তুতি নিয়েছে। ফারজানা উত্তর দিলো যে সে মোটেও খারাপ/মন্দ প্রস্তুতি নেয়নি। সে (ফারজানা) আরো বললো যে সে (ফারজানা) জিপিএ-৫ পাবে। আবরার বিস্ময়ের সারে বললো যে সে ছিলো অতান্ত বুদ্ধিমতী মেয়ে এবং আরো বললো যে তার (আবরার) প্রস্তুতি এত ভালো ছিলো না।
5. "Why are you laughing in the class?" the teacher said to the girl. "I have remembered an interesting incident after you have given the example." "What is that?" said the teacher. 6. "Good morning, Kiron," said Harun, "How much preparation have you taken for the SSC Examination?" "A great preparation," Kiron replied. "Wow! Ripon respectfully asked his class teacher if he might come in. The teacher replied in the affirmative and asked why he was so late that day. Ripon replied that his grandfather suddenly had felt severe pain in his chest. So, he had rushed to hospital with him. Finally, the teacher prayed that Allah might grant his quick recovery.
